In brief
The company was founded in 1989 as Data Translations. In 1992, Data Translations was acquired by its current owners. They brought to the company not only a new dynamism, but also a modern management policy. An impressive series of highly effective and memorable marketing campaigns saw the light of day. Results quickly followed, and Data Translations enjoyed continued growth year after year.
In business, those who stand still get overtaken (or taken over). So we have always constantly invested in our company. Other language service providers have been acquired, and Data Translations Int. is now one of the top translation agencies in Belgium. Furthermore, the company has had a permanent presence on the North American market since 2005.
In more detail
- 2005 and 2007: presence on the North American market
2005: W. 80th Street, New York: the opening of the first Data Translations office in the USA. Under the name of “Hofmans Translations”, the potential of the huge North American market was tapped by Data Translations for the first time.
2007: North American activities relocated to Boston: cradle of the American Revolution, heart of the academic world and sparkling metropolis. New England Translations (NET) is the company’s new office in the USA. NET is located in the centre of Boston’s Financial District at 185 Devonshire Street. It offers a wide range of language and translation services, from and into all of the world’s major languages. Clientele is expanding rapidly.
Thanks to NET, Data Translations has been able to address regional differences even more effectively (e.g. Brazilian Portuguese versus European Portuguese, etc.). Customers with international operations can now knock on a single door for all their language and translation needs.
- 2009: Data Translations becomes Data Translations International.
Together with NET, Data Translations Int. has built up a worldwide network of translators. Its slogan, “High Quality Translations, From And Into Any Language”, has never been more apt, with language services being provided even more quickly and at keener prices than ever! |
